Southern Sparks Electrical Ltd has been in business since 2012 and in that time, we have created a loyal client base of home-owners, landlords, restaurant and pub owners. We welcome work with property developers and building contractors in London, Sussex, Surrey & Kent.
Based in Brighton, we've been in the industry for over 13 years, covering all electrical works, domestic, commercial projects and electric vehicle charge point installation. We both enjoy working hard and in our free time, love to play golf.

Richard Thurston
Co-Director of Southern Sparks Electrical, I have 13 years experience in the trade, starting off as a first year apprentice, straight after school at 17 years old.
After 6 years of working for several companies, I met Danny and we established Southern Sparks Electrical Ltd in 2012.

When not busy with electrical projects, I try to play golf twice a week and enjoy weekend walks with my wife and cocker spaniel, Bella. I am really interested in health and wellbeing, training regularly at the gym. In my free time, I like to eat out with friends and family. My favourite place to go is The Joker Pub, in Brighton for their spicy chicken wings.

Danny Orford
​Co-Director of Southern Sparks Electrical, Danny's story is almost identical to Rich's.
After joining forces in 2012, when not immersed in electrical projects for the business, Danny likes to play golf regularly and keep fit at the gym. By following a healthy lifestyle, Danny & Rich have been able to take on more work and more detailed electrical projects, specialising in new builds and retro-fit projects for property developers.
For Danny, weekends are spent with his family, where they enjoy time together playing in the park, taking long walks and pub lunches.
